Medicare Advantage

Medicare is for folks who are 65 or older, deemed disabled by the Federal Government for at least two years or for people with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a transplant someties called ESRD). This service provides a comprehensive package of health care services and benefits to people who are enrolled in Medicare. It includes coverage for doctor visits, hospital stays, and prescription drugs and also provides extended coverage for Dental, Vision and Hearing that regualr Medicare and Medicaid dont offer to its receipients. Disabilty Income Insurance

Disability income insurance is a type of insurance that provides income replacement to individuals who become disabled and are unable to work. The policy is designed to replace a portion of the policyholder's income in the event they are unable to work due to an injury or illness.

When a policyholder purchases disability income insurance, they pay a premium to the insurance company on a regular basis. In exchange, the insurance company agrees to pay a portion of the policyholder's income if they become disabled and cannot work.

The amount of income replacement the policy provides will depend on the specific terms of the policy, including the coverage period, benefit period, and elimination period. The coverage period is the amount of time the policy will remain in force, while the benefit period is the amount of time the policy will pay out benefits. The elimination period is the amount of time the policyholder must wait before benefits begin to be paid out.

When a policyholder becomes disabled and is unable to work, they will typically need to provide proof of their disability to the insurance company, such as medical records or a doctor's statement. Once the disability is verified, the insurance company will begin paying out benefits according to the terms of the policy.
